The overabundance of CO2 in the atmosphere could become the source of cheap, clean and renewable energy. Scientists from Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences in Hefei, China, have developed a nanomaterial made of cobalt to convert carbon dioxide gas into the clean fuel called formate.
