Basketcase sets new world auction record for a Brough Superior: $561,556

The remarkable rise of "basketcase" prices continued at the British National Motorcycle Museum last Saturday (March 2, 2019) when a new world auction record for a Brough Superior motorcycle was set at £425,500 ($561,556). Other notable sales included a Ducati Supermono fetching £73,125 ($96,507) and a brand new 1999 Yamaha YZF-R7 (OW-02) homologation special that sold for £28,687 ($37,861).
