Near-painless skin graft tech gets put to the test

There are certain types of wounds – such as diabetic ulcers or pressure sores – that in some cases just won't heal. While there are other treatments that can be tried first, sometimes doctors ultimately have to perform a skin graft. Given that there are drawbacks to traditional grafting techniques, however, the University of Missouri School of Medicine recently conducted a study on an existing system that's designed to address some of those shortcomings.
