While most of the big TV manufacturers are embracing OLED, Samsung hasn't released an OLED TV for a few years now, instead focusing on what it calls "SUHD" – essentially, LED-backlit LCD TVs with 4K resolution. But at CES this week, the company announced their 2017 TV lineup under a brand new acronym, "QLED," based on new metal alloy quantum dots that apparently allow 100 percent color reproduction at any brightness.
